Rabbi Kaminetsky's prediction about the end of the Russian-Ukrainian war by January 15 did not come true

The prediction of renowned Rabbi Shmuel Kaminetsky about the end of the war in Ukraine by January 15 has not come true. He based his conclusions on conversations with influential people from the USA and European countries rather than on mystical predictions, promising a great future for Ukraine after the end of the conflict.
According to the Ukrainian News, Rabbi Kaminetsky’s prediction that active hostilities would end by mid-January has not come true. In his public statements, Shmuel Kaminetsky emphasized that his words were not based on mysticism or prophecies, but were the result of analyzing information received from «influential people» in the United States and European countries.
The rabbi expressed confidence that by January 15 there would be cause for celebration. «We gave a little more time because people will be busy on New Year’s Eve. So on January 15 we will celebrate, it will be after the end of the war. If the war just ends, the whole world, in a good way, investors, tourists, everybody will come here, » he was quoted as saying. He also envisioned a «great future» awaiting Ukraine after the end of the war, which he predicted would begin as early as 2026.
Kaminetsky envisioned a picture where «the whole world — investors, tourists — will come here, and there will be a great life here. Russia will become ‘North Korea’ and Ukraine will have an incredible future.» However, despite these expectations and statements, the situation on the front by the specified date has not changed according to his forecast, and the fighting continues.
Recall, earlier we reported that the daughter of the Chief Rabbi of Russia Berl Lazar, Rivki married the son of the Chief Rabbi of Odessa and Southern Ukraine, Avraham Wolf, Sholem. The family wed on Wednesday, February 12, 2025, in Israel.
