Head of OCU meets with Chief of the Defence Intelligence of Ukraine Oleh Ivashchenko

On February 3, 2026, the head of the OCU, Epiphany Dumenko, received at his residence the Chief of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, Lieutenant General Oleh Ivashchenko. The meeting discussed issues of mutual interest to both sides.

According to the official website of the OCU, the meeting was also attended by the head of the Synodal Department of Military Clergy, Ioann Yaremenko, and the head of the DIU Chaplaincy Service, cleric of the OCU, Kostiantyn Kholodov.

The parties paid special attention to the issues of “spiritual care and support for the military, emphasizing the importance of further uniting the nation’s efforts in the face of the ongoing confrontation with the Russian aggressor.”

Earlier, the head of the OCU, Epiphany Dumenko , “consecrated” the spiritual center of the Defence Intelligence of Ukraine in Kyiv. The event was dedicated to honoring the memory of the fallen DIU soldiers and “blessing” the military intelligence special forces who continue to defend Ukraine.
