Khmelnitsky region will reduce curfew on Easter night

The authorities of Khmelnitsky region have decided to temporarily reduce the curfew on the night of the celebration of the Resurrection of Christ. This measure will allow the believers of the region to attend holiday services in churches without violating the rules established by law.

It is reported that on the night from April 11 to 12, 2026, restrictions on movement will operate in a reduced interval — from 00:00 to 03:00. About the corresponding changes in the schedule reported the head of Khmelnitsky regional state administration Sergey Tyurin on his page on Facebook.

During the official meeting with representatives of religious organizations, held on April 7, the regional government also recommended to organize online broadcasts of holiday services, if possible. This proposal is aimed at minimizing the mass gathering of people in religious buildings and ensuring the safety of citizens during the holiday.

We shall remind you that earlier we reported that in a number of regions significant restrictions on visiting churches and cemeteries during the Easter period are introduced .
