UOC-KP accepts parish in Romania into organization

The head of the UOC-KP, Nikodym Kobzar, officially accepted cleric Konstantin Chernushka and his parish in Romania into the religious structure he leads. The decision was made on the basis of a request to transfer to the jurisdiction of the Kyiv Patriarchate.

According to Nikodim Kobzar, on May 17, 2026, the application for the admission of an association (parish) called “The Abode of All Saints” to the UOC-KP was granted. This community operates in the village of Sagasa in Romania.

Earlier, we reported that the Orthodox parish of Christ the Savior, located in the city of Denia (Alicante Province, Spain), was officially accepted into the UOC-KP. The decision was made on May 7, 2026.
