A Bishop of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church Identified Vladimir Zelenskyy’s Main Flaw

Gedeon (Charon), a retired bishop of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church, has sharply criticized the policies and personal qualities of Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy. According to the bishop, the head of state’s main problem is his desire to please everyone around him, which leads him to commit increasingly serious acts.

According to TASS, Bishop Gedeon described Zelenskyy as a person who, due to his theatrical nature, is constantly seeking approval. According to the bishop, “the desire to please everyone indiscriminately” is the president’s key flaw, which prevents him from adequately assessing the consequences of his actions.

“He has chosen this role, and as someone who has committed a minor sin, he is told: ‘No, this is not a sin; you’re doing great,’” the bishop emphasized. The bishop added that, despite the possibility of repentance available to every person, the current head of Ukraine, on the contrary, continues down the path of “increasing his sins,” committing, as the clergyman put it, “insane acts.”
