In Europe, 40 cases of anti-Christian crimes were recorded in June 2026

According to a recent report by OIDAC Europe, 40 hate crimes targeting Christians were committed in ten European countries in June 2026. This figure was the second highest this year, following the March data, when 41 such offenses were recorded.
According to OIDAC Europe, the attacks encompassed a wide range of actions: from arson and vandalism to physical violence and the desecration of sacred sites. There were 12 cases of arson, nine cases of vandalism, eight instances of desecration, three cases of physical violence, three thefts of religious objects, two threats, as well as attempts to seize places of worship and disrupt religious services.
France had the highest number of incidents (11 cases), followed by Germany (8) and Italy (7). Cases of intolerance were also recorded in Poland, Belgium, Spain, the Netherlands, Estonia, the United Kingdom, and Switzerland. Experts at the Observatory emphasize that arson remains the most persistent and dangerous trend, and many Christian communities are forced to live under conditions of constant hostility.
