In Kremenchuk, supporters of the OCU, together with the TCC, disrupted a service held by a persecuted congregation of the UOC

In Kremenchuk, representatives of the OCU attempted to disrupt the worship service of believers from the Ukrainian Orthodox Church (UOC), who have been forced to pray outdoors since the Holy Trinity Church was seized. The incident occurred at the site of the destroyed old church, where the congregation was celebrating the Liturgy. This was reported by the Telegram channel “Dozor.”
According to the source, a group of OCU activists led by Feodosiy Ovcharuk and Olga Ponomarenko arrived at the place of worship, accompanying their actions with insults and attempts to provoke a conflict. The activists disrupted the service, demanding that the worshippers present permits for the gathering.
During the incident, police officers and representatives of the Territorial Recruitment Center (TRC) were called to the scene. According to eyewitnesses, TRC representatives forcibly took away two worshippers, one of whom is a monk with serious health problems.
As a reminder, the press service of the Volodymyr-Volyn Diocese of the Ukrainian OrthodoxChurch previouslyissued an official statement regarding the forcible detention of the diocese’s cleric, Protodeacon Bohdan Rudnychko, by officers of the Territorial Recruitment Center (TRC).
