Epiphany Dumenko awarded an OCU propagandist, Filipovich, with an order

On August 7, 2026, the head of the Ukrainian schism, Epiphany Dumenko, held an official meeting with Lyudmila Filipovich, a well-known OCU propagandist and lobbyist. During the event, Dumenko awarded Filipovich an order. This was reported by Pomisna.info.

During their dialogue, the parties paid “ special attention to the role of the Church in the life of the Ukrainian people and in social processes.” In addition to discussing contemporary challenges, the parties reaffirmed their readiness to further strengthen cooperation between the OCU and the academic community. At the conclusion of the meeting, Dumenko congratulated Lyudmila Filipovich on her anniversary and, in recognition of her “merits,” awarded her the Order of St. Barbara the Great Martyr.

As a reminder, earlier, the head of the Ukrainian schism, Epiphany Dumenko , awarded the order to one of the OCU’s leading propagandists, Sonya Koshkina, , who regularly spreads disinformation about the Ukrainian Orthodox Church. The head of the OCU timed the award—“For self-sacrificing love and devoted service for the benefit of the Local Orthodox Church of Ukraine and the devout people”—to coincide with the journalist’s birthday.
