In Tulchin, representatives of the TRC forcibly mobilized a clergyman from the UOC’s cathedral

In Tulchin, the protodeacon of the Cathedral of the Nativity of Christ of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church has been mobilized. Protodeacon Sergiy Zinkevich was called up for military service on August 14, 2026.

According to information received from the clergyman’s relatives, immediately after the mobilization procedures were completed, he was sent to a military unit. At this time, Protodeacon Sergiy Zinkevych is already undergoing training at a training center.

As a reminder, a 24-hour hotline has been launched in Ukraine to provide legal support to clergy of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church (UOC). This measure was taken in response to the increasing number of cases of forced mobilization of clergy.
