"There's Nowhere Else to Go": An exhibition dedicated to Belarusian volunteers was held at the Kyiv-Pechersk Lavra

A documentary photo exhibition titled “Kalinovsky’s Regiment: The Long Road Home” has concluded at the Kyiv-Pechersk Lavra National Reserve. The exhibition, which chronicles the combat journey of Belarusian volunteers serving in the Ukrainian Defense Forces, was housed within the walls of the Great Lavra Bell Tower.

The exhibition, which ran from September 8 to 21, featured more than 150 photographs depicting the training process, daily life, and actual combat positions of the servicemen. The photographs cover a significant period of the unit’s participation in military operations, including events in Bucha, Irpin, Bakhmut, Chasov Yar, and a number of other settlements.

The project’s organizers—including the “Kalinovtsy” civic organization and the press service of the Kastus Kalinovsky Regiment—emphasized the event’s interactive format. In particular, elements of the exhibition—cardboard boxes used to transport provisions—were supplemented with chevrons, personal signatures, and badges left by visitors during the previous exhibition in Zaporizhzhia.

As a reminder, a cleric of the OCU had previously expressed dissatisfaction with secular concerts being held at the Kyiv-Pechersk Lavra.
