Memories of Joasaph Vasilkiv were edited during the active phase of the conflict with the Head of UOC KP

The memoirs of the “Metropolitan” of Ivano-Frankivsk and Galician Joasaph Vasilkiv about the Unification Council were edited for ideological reasons, writes “Churcher”.
“Our readers who took part in editing the collection (it turns out that there are many) clarify: the memoirs of Metropolitan Joasaph were edited during the active phase of the conflict with Filaret. The reason is simple – ideology, which provides for criticism of the elder. That is why they added several references to the liquidation of the UOC-KP. In particular, that the Unification Council “made a decision to dissolve the Ukrainian Orthodox Church of the Kiev Patriarchate and re-enter the Orthodox Church of Ukraine.” The only catch is that the decision was taken by the UOC-KP itself at the Cathedral … but who is already worried about this? ”, writes the Telegram-channel.
