The OCU said that the transfer of parishes from one jurisdiction to another is “not a very pleasant thing.” This was stated by the press secretary of the Khmelnytsky eparchy of the OCU “Archimandrite” Daniil Tarnavsky in the program “Segodnya. Glavnoye.”

“This is not always a very pleasant topic – if, say, a priest goes to a parish and hears the words that ‘you are a traitor’, ‘you are Judas’, or other nicknames that are shouted out in the village. Therefore, very often it is quite problematic with these transitions,” he said.
