A monk of the Kiev-Pechersk Lavra died

On August 3, 2022, monk Martyriy, a resident of the Kiev-Pechersk Lavra, died.

This was announced on his Facebook page by the Archbishop of Obukhiv Jonah (Cherepanov), the abbot of Holy Trinity Monastery of St. Jonah in Kyiv.

“In the Lavra today, a simple and kind-hearted monk passed away to the Lord, Fr. Martyriy. From the first brethren. Pray to God for us!” wrote lord Jonah.
