Minister Tkachenko called the relics of the reverend Pechersky museum exhibits

Minister of Culture and Information Policy Alexander Tkachenko, reflecting on the future fate of the great Orthodox shrine and the monks who are expelled by his department from the Kiev-Pechersk Lavra, called the relics of the reverend Pechersky «museum exhibits.» Exactly as the godless Soviet authorities once called them. He said this on the air of the telethon, according to the Information and Education Department of the UOC.
“I would like to emphasize, just in case, that in addition to real estate, there are also museum exhibits, more than 800 copies, including the relics of saints, which were transferred to the use of the monks, and there will be a separate revision regarding them, to what extent they are preserved there” , — with these words, the official allegedly “protects” shrines from monks, for whom the relics of the monks are a great shrine, and warns of criminal liability if “museum exhibits, including relics, are somehow moved somewhere” .
