The Novovolynsk community voted to ban the activities of the UOC

On April 19, 2023, at an extraordinary meeting of the city council of Novovolynsk, the deputies, led by mayor Boris Karpus, unanimously voted to ban the activities of the UOC in the Novovolynsk community and terminate the right to use land plots of some religious communities. This was reported by the Spiritual Front of Ukraine with reference to the website of the Novovolynsk City Council.

We are talking about a ban on the use of land plots of the Holy Ascension Religious Community of the UOC, the Holy Dormition Monastery of the UOC and the Church of the Holy Great Martyr and Healer Panteleimon of the UOC.
