In Cherkasy, they plan to take away land from four churches of the UOC

A document has been published on the website of the Cherkasy City Council, which states the intention of the Department of Architecture and Urban Planning of the Cherkasy City Council to withdraw land plots that are in use by legal entities associated with the Ukrainian Orthodox Church, 18000 reports.
Deputies of the Cherkasy City Council must vote for the decision. In case of his support, officials will begin the procedure for returning the land to the use of the community of the city of Cherkasy.
A similar process is already taking place around the site in the Cathedral Park of the city of Cherkasy, where the largest Orthodox church in the region is located. However, so far this process has stuck in the courts, in particular because of a mistake made by officials by the name of the secretary of the Cherkasy city council, Yuri Trenkin.
