In Rivne region, the UOC religious community asks for help to build a church instead of the one that was taken away

In the village of Pochapki, Rivne region, the religious community of the Holy Cross parish of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church was left without its church as a result of a raid by OCU activists. Now the UOC believers pray in the church house near the temple, which the OCU community is also trying to take away. Therefore, the priest and parishioners are asking for help in the construction of a new church, reports the website of the Rivne diocese of the UOC.
It is known that the believers of the UOC purchased an old house with a plot of land, but for the erection of the church they lack funds, so they ask all not indifferent financial and prayer support.
«We want to kick us out of the church house, they filed a lawsuit, — said the rector of the parish of the Holy Cross Archpriest Andrew Yurchak, — The first court recognized the right to the house for the religious community of the OCU, we filed an appeal».
Donations for the construction of the temple can be made using the details on the website of the diocese.
