Ukraine's attorney general's office plans to open a criminal case against Robert Amsterdam

The office of the Prosecutor-General of Ukraine plans to launch a criminal case against the head of the international human rights company Amsterdam & Partners LLP, Robert Amsterdam, who represents the legal interests of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church. The criminal prosecution of the human rights activist in Ukraine will take place at the request of the speaker of the Verkhovna Rada Ruslan Stefanchuk. About it in his Telegram-channel wrote in his Telegram-channel ex-MP Igor Mosiychuk.

«The office of the Prosecutor General is preparing on the application of the Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Ruslan Stefanchuk to initiate criminal proceedings against the famous American human rights activist Robert Amsterdam. The reason: Robert Amsterdam is a lawyer of the UOC and opposes the adoption of the law banning this church. Given that Robert Amsterdam closely cooperates with the office of the candidate for Vice-President of the United States JD Vance we conclude that the Office of the President has made the final bet and in the American elections will actively support Kamala Davy Harris», — said Mosiychuk.

We will remind, earlier we reported that Robert Amsterdam sent an open letter to the current President of the UN Security Council Filipe Jacinto Newsy with a request for urgent consideration in the UN Security Council of the issue of persecution of the UOC.
