"There is nowhere to pull and finalize," - MP Syumar demands to vote for the ban of the UOC

An MP of the European Solidarity party, Viktoriya Syumar, has called for the adoption of the scandalous draft law No 8371 aimed at banning the activities of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church. The MP said that the Verkhovna Rada has the necessary votes for the ban, so it is impossible to postpone this issue further. About this she told on air of TV channel “Espresso“.
“We must start with the consideration of the Church bill – there is nowhere to pull and finalize. Everyone understands that there are votes – there is no desire to bring it to the hall just because this bill was voted”, – said Deputy Syumar.
We shall remind you that earlier the people’s Deputy of Ukraine from the party “Servant of the people” Eugenia Kravchuk reported that the vote for the scandalous bill № 8371, aimed at banning the activities of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church, was agreed with all deputy factions of the Ukrainian Parliament. Kravchuk said that the said draft law would be put to a vote first of all after the Verkhovna Rada resumes its work.
