We will remind, earlier we reported that the Kremenets-Pochayiv State Historical and Architectural Reserve announced the organization of excursions in the complex of structures of St. Nicholas Cathedral of the city of Kremenets, Ternopil region, which earlier the state forcibly expropriated from the Ukrainian Orthodox Church. According to the “reserve”, the excursions will be conducted not only inside the church, but also on the bell tower, which is also a historical monument.

On September 5, 2024, a woman, a member of the commission of the Kremenets-Pochayiv Historical and Architectural Reserve, who was inspecting the monastery’s premises for the purpose of their further transfer to state ownership, died suddenly on the territory of the Epiphany Monastery of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church. This was reported by the regional publication Terminovo.
It is reported that the fact of the tragedy was confirmed to journalists by the press service of the Ternopil Police. A resident of Ternopil born in 1982 died. Law enforcement officers arrived at the scene. They found no signs of violent death.
“The GIZ team is mourning the death of Natalia Kalenikova. A sudden death took away our colleague, the head of the department of protection of operation and restoration of monuments of the State Historical Administration. It is an indescribable pain for all of us. The loss of a highly qualified colleague, a like-minded person, a sociable person,” – reads the obituary of Reserve.
