Ternopil Council of Churches plans to exclude representatives of the UOC from the organization

The members of the Council of Churches of the Ternopil region will review the expediency of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church’s membership in this organization. The decision to exclude the UOC is planned to be made at the next meeting of the organization. This was reported by the regional publication Ternoplyany.
“We must promote the development of our spiritual culture. Thanks to the chaplains, the defenders feel spiritual, material and other support and continue to defend our independence with dignity. Ukrainians have always been tolerant of different nationalities and religions, but if someone starts promoting hatred and murder, they have no place on Ukrainian soil,” — said Vyacheslav Nehoda, head of the Ternopil Regional Military Administration.
Earlier, we reported that the Supreme Court of Ukraine will consider the cassation appeal of the Administration of the Ternopil Diocese of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church against the decision of the court of appeal, which takes away the land plot under the Cathedral and the diocesan administration in Ternopil. The appeal was ruled in favor of the Ternopil City Council, which initiated the unjustified expropriation of church property.
