UOC lawyer told about the results of the SBU search in Kiev's Vvedensky monastery

Archpriest Mykyta Chekman, a lawyer for the Ukrainian Orthodox Church, reported on the results of searches conducted by SBU officers in the Holy Vvedensky Monastery in Kyiv. The lawyer spoke about the seized property of the monks and how the searches were conducted. Nikita Chekman wrote about this in his Telegram channel.

“SSU officers inspected all the premises of the monastery. During the searches, cell phones, a computer and flash drives were seized from two monks of the monastery. Currently, the monastery is operating normally, all services are held according to the schedule,” — said the UOC lawyer.

As reported, on the morning of September 18, representatives of the Security Service of Ukraine came to the Holy Vvedensky Monastery of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church in Kyiv to conduct searches. According to available data, the monks are accused of “spreading Kremlin propaganda” and “supporting Russian aggression against Ukraine.”
