Radical accuses residents of Cherkasy of infantilism for unwillingness to seize UOC Cathedral

The commander of the 2nd assault battalion of the 3rd separate assault brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (nationalist group Azov — ed.), Dmytro Kukharchuk, accused the residents of Cherkasy of infantilism during the seizure of the Archangel Michael Cathedral of the Cherkasy Diocese of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church by radicals. Kukharchuk was outraged that the residents of Cherkasy did not come to the aid of the radicals, and therefore they had to do all the work themselves. He wrote about this on his Facebook page.

“The fact that a veteran (not an active serviceman) of the 3rd Separate Brigade took command of the church was enough to defend it. Questions about the inaction of the police and the infantilization of Cherkasy residents remain open,” — Kukharchuk criticized the townspeople.

Earlier, Ukrainian MP Artem Dmytruk published information in which he listed the paramilitary units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and radical nationalist organizations that took part in the seizure of the Archangel Michael Cathedral of the Cherkasy Diocese of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church. The deputy emphasized that sooner or later all those involved in the seizure of the cathedral in Cherkasy will be held accountable.
