Vandals attack UOC church in Kyiv region, which was previously set on fire

The local Holy Trinity Church of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church, which suffered an arson attack in October 2022, was attacked in the village of Pasichna, Kyiv region. This time, the vandals damaged the gate to the territory, entered the church, and made a mess of the premises. This was reported by the rector, Archpriest Ivan Omelchuk, on his Facebook page.
“Brothers and sisters! Today, unknown people broke into our church. They broke the door, the cross over the gate and desecrated the house of God. We hope that the relevant authorities will find the intruders, and we will pray for these people with the words of the Savior: “Forgive them, O God, for they do not know what they are doing,” – the priest wrote.
As reported, on the night of December 5-6, 2024, in Kremenchuk, Poltava region, unknown persons vandalized the local church of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church in honor of the Holy Great Martyr Barbara. The attackers tore down and broke icons that were attached to the outer walls of the church.
