OCU head to visit Phanar next Sunday

The head of the OCU, Epiphany Dumenko, is going to visit the Patriarchate of Constantinople on March 9, 2025, on the Sunday of the Triumph of Orthodoxy. In connection with the holiday, Epiphany Dumenko was even instructed to lead the Saturday evening service. This was reported by Orthodox Times.
“On the occasion of the great feast of the Resurrection of Orthodoxy, His Beatitude Metropolitan Epifaniy of Kyiv and All Ukraine will lead the Great Vespers in the Patriarchal Church on Saturday, March 8, at 16:00. The next day, on Sunday, March 9, His Holiness will lead the traditional Patriarchal and Synodal Divine Liturgy in concelebration with His Beatitude Metropolitan Epifaniy,” — the Phanar press service reported.
It should be noted that we recently published an analytical article on possible scenarios for the development of the future of the OCU in the event of the end of the Russian-Ukrainian war. In it, we described how the relations between the OCU and Phanar have become more complicated, which could lead to serious changes within the Ukrainian schism.
