In Volyn, TCC employees forcibly mobilized the rector of the UOC church

In the city of Volodymyr in Volyn region, representatives of the Territorial Manning Center (TMC) conducted a forceful detention and mobilization of Archpriest Bohdan Kacevich, rector of the Transfiguration Church of the UOC in the village of Osmigovichi. The incident occurred in front of the pregnant wife of the clergyman at the time of their return from a medical facility.

According to the press service of the Vladimir-Volyn Eparchy of the UOC, the employees of the TCC used physical force to the priest without giving explanations, pinched his hands and forcibly placed him in the car. Believers of the Vladimir-Volyn diocese of the UOC expressed extreme concern about the actions of the military, noting their harsh nature.

Archpriest Bohdan Kacevich reportedly had a heart attack while in the TCC building. The clergyman’s wife, who was waiting outside the building, sought access of doctors to her husband. Despite the fact that the arriving ambulance staff stated the need for immediate hospitalization, the management of TCC refused to let the priest go to the hospital.
