Pope's health condition stabilized

As of March 5, 2025, Italian doctors managed to stabilize the health of Pope Francis. Doctors give restrained predictions about the clinical picture of the pontiff. This was reported by the Vatican press service.

“There were no episodes of respiratory failure or bronchospasm. His temperature was normal, his consciousness was clear. The Pope cooperated with the medical staff and was aware of the situation. In the morning, he was prescribed high-flow oxygen therapy and underwent respiratory physiotherapy.” As planned, non-invasive artificial lung ventilation was performed throughout the night. “The prognosis remains restrained. Throughout the day, the Holy Father alternated between prayer and rest, and in the morning he received the Eucharist,” — the Vatican press service said in a communique.

Earlier, we reported that Pope Francis took part in a video conference with 250 young Ukrainians from Kyiv and various cities in Europe and America. The head of the RCC addressed Ukrainian youth and called on them to remember their heroes and forgive their enemies.
