Viktor Yelenskyy reappointed as the Head of the SSEPFC

The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine has reappointed Viktor Yelensky to the post of head of the State Service of Ukraine for Ethnic Policy and Freedom of Conscience. This appointment will extend the term of office of the official, who takes an active position on the issue of banning the activities of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church. This was announced by the representative of the Cabinet of Ministers in the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Taras Melnychuk.

“The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine has appointed Viktor Yelensky as the head of the State Service of Ukraine for Ethnic Policy and Freedom of Conscience,” — Melnychuk wrote.

Earlier, the head of the international human rights company Amsterdam & Partners LLP, Robert Amsterdam, who represents the legal interests of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church, in an interview with Tucker Carlson, spoke about the role of the head of the State Service of Ukraine for Ethnic Policy and Freedom of Conscience, Viktor Yelensky. The lawyer noted that before taking up his position in the Ukrainian government, Yelenskyy was a communist anti-religious propagandist and wrote books on atheistic topics.
