Recall, March 16, 2025 in Tirana held elections for the new Primate of the Albanian Orthodox Church. According to the results of the election process, Metropolitan John of Korczan was elected as the new Beatitude Archbishop of Tirana and All Albania, who had previously held the position of Primate’s See.
Head of the Polish Church congratulates newly elected Primate of the Albanian Orthodox Church
The Primate of the Polish Autocephalous Orthodox Church, Metropolitan Sawa of Warsaw and All Poland, congratulated the head of the Albanian Orthodox Church, Archbishop John, on his election as Primate. Metropolitan Sawa assured Archbishop John of his support and prayers. This was reported by the official website of the Polish Orthodox Church.
