UOC Parishes in Rivne Region: Only Nine Communities Changed Jurisdiction After the Ban Law

The Rivne Regional Military Administration reported on the number of UOC parishes in the region. After the adoption of the law banning the UOC, the majority of communities in the region have remained within the UOC. This statistic was published by «Glavcom» in its article titled «The Law Banning the UOC: And Yet, Nothing Has Changed. Who is Sabotaging the Process?»
According to the provided data, out of 469 UOC parishes, only nine changed their jurisdiction to the OCU after the adoption of the law.
It is worth noting that the Kirovohrad Regional Administration reported on the number of religious communities of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church that have been re-registered to the OCU since 2022. As of May 2025, the OCU network in the region includes 148 religious communities, while the UOC has 285. However, only 15 UOC parishes have undergone re-registration.
