In Moldova's capital, authorities ban LGBT propaganda and gay parades

On May 15, 2025, the municipal authorities of Chisinau decided to ban LGBT propaganda and gay pride parades in the capital of Moldova. It is noteworthy that in Moldova, more than 85% of the country’s residents are categorically opposed to any propaganda of non-traditional values. This is reported by the Telegram channel “Orthodox Moldova and the World”.
“On the territory of Chisinau, marches, demonstrations and propaganda of LGBT people are prohibited. This decision was made by the Municipal Council of the capital of Moldova. During the vote on the relevant draft, councillors of the ruling PAS party left the meeting in protest. And this is very significant,” – the Telegram channel reports.
As reported earlier, an LGBT festival will be held in Kyiv on June 7 and 8, 2025, during the celebration of Pentecost, and a gay pride parade is scheduled for June 14. The purpose of the events is to “raise funds for the Armed Forces” and “protect human rights.”
