LGBT organizations to hold a festival in Kyiv on the day of the Holy Trinity

On June 7 and 8, 2025, Kyiv will host an LGBT festival, and a gay pride parade is scheduled for June 14. The purpose of the events is to “raise funds for the Armed Forces” and “protect human rights.” The organizers of the event announced this on their Instagram page.
“In 2025, we are taking to the streets of Kyiv again. We have no right to remain silent, because human rights are not something that can be postponed until after the victory. The examples of the United States, Hungary, and Georgia show that the attack on LGBT rights is the first step towards a broader curtailment of the rights and freedoms of all people. Today, people are discriminated against on the basis of sexual orientation or gender identity, and tomorrow it may be any other person,” – said the Kyiv LGBT organization KyivPride.
On March 18, 2025, the Hungarian Parliament banned gay pride parades in the country. Authorities will be able to use facial recognition tools to identify people attending banned events.
