The abbot of the Pochaiv Holy Spirit Monastery of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church was sent from the TRC to a military unit

Archimandrite Pafnuty, abbot of the Pochaiv Holy Spirit Monastery-Skete, who was detained two days earlier by employees of the Territorial Recruitment Center of the Ternopil region, was sent from the military registration and enlistment office to one of the military units in the Rivne region. This was reported to Raskolam.net by a representative of the monastery.

“Brothers and sisters! In response to numerous requests to provide information about Father Pafnuty, we would like to inform you that, according to the latest information from our abbot, he was taken from the Ternopil Territorial Recruitment Center to one of the military units in the Rivne region. We sincerely thank everyone for their prayers and concern,” – wrote a representative of the Pochaiv Holy Spirit Monastery.

As previously reported, on June 11, 2025, in Kremenets, Ternopil region, employees of the Territorial Recruitment Center detained the abbot of the Pochaiv Holy Spirit Monastery-Skete, Archimandrite Pafnuty. According to eyewitnesses, the incident occurred immediately after the end of a court hearing where a case related to the monastery was being considered.
