On June 14, 2025, in Sarny (Rivne region), employees of the Territorial Recruitment Center forcibly mobilized Deacon Maxim Guzenko, a cleric of the local Holy Protection Cathedral of the Sarny Diocese of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church. This was reported by the Union of Orthodox Journalists, citing sources in the Sarny Diocese.
It is reported that Deacon Maxim Guzenko has been held at the local Territorial Recruitment Center since June 14. According to sources in the Sarny Diocese, there has been no contact with the cleric of the Holy Protection Cathedral in Sarny during this time, so it is unknown what is happening to him at the moment.
