Deacon of the Chernivtsi-Bukovina Diocese of the UOC Released from the TRC

Deacon Ivan Dmytruk of the Chernivtsi-Bukovina Diocese of the UOC, who was kidnapped by TRC personnel, is now released and at home. This is reported by the Telegram channel of the UOC of Bukovina believers.
However, the believers ask to continue praying for priest Fedor Hnitetsky, who is still being held.
It is also recalled that on August 4, 2025, near the city of Kremenets, Ternopil Oblast, a cleric of the Volodymyr-Volyn Diocese of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church, Archpriest Serhiy Shymaylo, was detained and forcibly mobilized by the territorial recruitment center. The priest was heading to the Feast of the Pochaiv Icon of the Mother of God at the Holy Dormition Pochaiv Lavra.
