The “Reserve” continues to remove the relics of the venerable Kiev-Pechersk saints from the Near and Far Caves of the Lavra

Representatives of the National Reserve “Kyiv-Pechersk Lavra” continue their blasphemous actions against the relics of the venerable Kyiv-Pechersk saints. This time, employees of the “reserve” removed part of the relics from the Far and Near Caves and placed them in a storage room on the territory of the Lavra. This was reported by the Telegram channel Raskolam.net.

It is reported that the reliquaries with the relics of the Kiev-Pechersk saints were moved from the caves to one of the storage rooms on the monastery grounds and placed on the floor under the stairs to the second floor. Cardboard boxes from under bananas are stacked near the relics, and the room itself is clearly not intended for storing such sacred objects.

«In general, all this chaos with the relics of the saints indicates that the conditions for their storage have deteriorated to such an extent that there is a risk to the integrity of the relics. The caves, which have been inaccessible to monks and believers since the beginning of 2025, are most often closed. Naturally, this state of affairs leads to a lack of normal ventilation, which provokes the appearance of mold and other biological processes. At the same time, the caves could even be flooded as a result of recent heavy rains, which naturally leads to an increase in the groundwater level,» — the channel noted.

We will remind you that on August 19, 2025, employees of the National Reserve “Kyiv-Pechersk Lavra” removed the relics of the Venerable Kyiv-Pechersk from the Near Caves of the monastery and performed unknown manipulations on them.
