We previously reported that representatives of the National Reserve “Kyiv-Pechersk Lavra” continue their blasphemous actions against the relics of the reverend Kyiv-Pechersk. This time, the employees of the “reserve” removed part of the relics from the Far and Near Caves and placed them in a storage room on the territory of the Lavra.
Blasphemous manipulations over the relics of the Kiev-Pechersk saints were carried out with the assistance of the OCU
The sacrilegious manipulations carried out over the past few months with regard to the holy relics of the Kiev-Pechersk Lavra monks by employees of the Kiev-Pechersk Lavra National Reserve took place with the assistance of representatives of the OCU. In addition, the events were attended by “specialists” with “unique experience in this work,” which they acquired back in the 1980s. This was reported on her Facebook account by the acting director of the “reserve,” Svetlana Kotlyarevskaya.
“It so happened that this day (August 28, ed.) is also the day of completion of a series of events to ensure the preservation of the relics of the saints. These measures were carried out jointly with the brethren of the Monastery, led by Vladyka Avraam (hierarch of the OCU, ed.). This is a great spiritual undertaking of national importance, in which everything had to be taken into account. Both spiritual canons and the laws of Ukraine. The reserve worked with the coffins (tombs) and fabrics. (We have specialists who came to the Lavra as young students back in the 1980s and have such unique work experience). And the clergy, in constant prayer and taking into account all the canons, carried out the entire list of necessary actions with the holy relics,” – Kotlyarevska noted.
