The Ministry of Culture conducted “microbiological tests” on the relics of the Kiev-Pechersk saints

At the request of the Ministry of Culture and Strategic Communications of Ukraine, the Microbiology Laboratory of Sumy State University “ECOMEDHIM” conducted “tests” on the relics of the Venerable Pechersky in the Far Caves of the Kiev-Pechersk Lavra. This information comes from the response to a lawyer’s request from Archpriest Mykyta Chekman. He noted that the authorities refused to provide any further information about the actions of institutions regarding the Lavra’s shrines. The lawyer reported this on his Telegram channel.
«Please note that the relics were tested by the microbiological laboratory of the Regional Center ”ECOMEDHIM» of Sumy State University. In order to obtain information about these tests, lawyer’s requests were also submitted, but again NO RESPONSES WERE RECEIVED. The Ministry of Culture and Strategic Communications of Ukraine stated that it was unable to provide copies of the protocols specified in the lawyer’s request and “advised” to contact the National Reserve “Kyiv-Pechersk Lavra” directly. This position and “shifting” of responsibility indicates a deliberate attempt to conceal the real circumstances of the actions taken with regard to the incorruptible relics and to further evade responsibility for their blasphemous actions,» — wrote the Lavra’s lawyer.
We previously reported that the blasphemous manipulations carried out over the past few months with the holy relics of the Kiev-Pechersk monks by employees of the National Reserve “Kiev-Pechersk Lavra” took place with the assistance of representatives of the OCU. In addition, the events were attended by “specialists” with “unique experience in this work,” which they acquired back in the 1980s.
