In Cherkasy, they report an attack by a priest of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church on representatives of the TRC

Cherkasy media report that a priest of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church allegedly attacked employees of the territorial recruitment center who were trying to mobilize him. The incident occurred on September 11 and involved a well-known priest of the UOC, Archpriest Andriy Shimanovich. This was reported by the publication 18000.
«At first, the attacker refused to provide any documents or introduce himself. He behaved aggressively during communication with law enforcement officers. He did not respond to remarks from the police and military personnel of the recruitment center. Then he began to wave a bag containing an object resembling an axe. One of the servicemen received two blows to the head. The offender also sprayed an irritant spray in the face of another serviceman. He was detained and another object resembling a pistol was found on him. The man was wanted,» the publication reported.
Earlier, we reported that a priest of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church, Archpriest Mykola Khlan, died under mysterious circumstances on the front lines. The official version published in the media is that he died as a result of combat operations. According to other sources, the clergyman was killed. It is noteworthy that he was under investigation, was the father of three children, and should not have been mobilized into the Armed Forces of Ukraine at all.
