Court on the ban of the UOC postponed to October 30

A court hearing on the case of banning the Ukrainian Orthodox Church, which was to be held today, has been postponed to October 30. The reason for the postponement was the illness of the judge appointed to hear the case. This was reported by the lawyer of the UOC Archpriest Nikita Chekman.
“Today postponed the court hearing to October 30 at 10:00 due to the illness of the judge, ” – said the lawyer.
The priest thanked all who came to support the Church and urged to continue prayerful support of the UOC.
We shall remind you that Metropolitan Feodosiy (Snigirev) of Cherkassy and Kanev has received an official invitation to Geneva to testify at the UN as a witness in cases of human rights violations in Ukraine. He will have to provide personal explanations to the UN Special Rapporteurs, as well as to the Independent International Commission of Inquiry into violations against believers of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church.
