In Chernivtsi region deputy head of TRC took part in the seizure of the UOC church

In the village of Nagoryany in Chernivtsi region, the deputy head of the local Territorial Recruitment Center (TRC) was caught on video breaking into the doors of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church. After that he let a group of activists inside, which is regarded as a forceful seizure of a religious building.

As reported by “Strana.ua”, the incident occurred on September 28 during the seizure of the Church of the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary. The published video footage shows a man breaking down the doors. Local residents identified this man as the deputy head of Kelmenets TRC Bohdan Gandziuk. According to the report, it was he who provided access to the activists to the premises of the temple by breaking the entrance.
