Tetyana Berezhnaya appointed Vice Prime Minister - Minister of Culture of Ukraine

The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine has approved Tetyana Berezhnaya for a key post in the government, appointing her Vice Prime Minister for Humanitarian Policy — Minister of Culture of Ukraine. This decision was made on October 21, 2025 and marks an important step in the formation of state policy in the cultural and humanitarian spheres.

Information about the appointment was published on the official website of the Ministry of Culture and Strategic Communications of Ukraine. In her new position, Tetyana Berezhnaya will be responsible for the implementation of the strategy for the development of national culture, support for the arts, as well as for the coordination of humanitarian initiatives in the country.

We shall remind you that earlier we reported that the Cabinet of Ministers appointed Ivan Verbytskyy to the post of Deputy Minister of Culture. He will be responsible for the protection of cultural heritage and museums. The appointment drew public attention due to the fact that Verbitsky is an open homosexual and LGBT activist.
