Patriarch Ilia of Georgia hospitalized due to health complications

Patriarch Ilia of Georgia has been hospitalized due to complications of his health condition. the 93-year-old patriarch, who has headed the Georgian Orthodox Church since 1977, is in the Caucasus Medical Center. The Patriarchate of Georgia appealed to the faithful with a request for prayer support. Patriarch Ilia, being the oldest Primate of the Orthodox Church, is highly respected in Georgia and holds a leading position among the country’s public figures. Despite his advanced age and health problems, he continues to actively follow political and ecclesiastical events both inside and outside the country.
