Ukraine's National Police urges citizens to refrain from attending Easter services "due to security threats"

The National Police of Ukraine has officially recommended that citizens refuse to visit churches in person during the Easter holidays and join online services. This measure is aimed at ensuring the safety of citizens amid the ongoing threat of provocations and rocket attacks.

First Deputy Head of the Patrol Police Department Oleksiy Beloshitsky emphasized the need to observe precautionary measures. According to him, “the enemy is cunning and cynical”, which creates high risks of massive attacks. The representative of the Department urged Ukrainians to avoid places of mass gathering of people and not to give in to provocations.

Note, earlier the authorities of Khmelnytskyi region decided to temporarily reduce the curfew on the night of the celebration of the Resurrection of Christ. This measure will allow the region’s believers to attend festive services in churches without violating the rules established by law.
