Nikodim Kobzar establishes UOC-KP vicariate in Italy and Portugal

on May 31, 2026, the head of the UOC-KP, Nikodim Kobzar, officially accepted «Archbishop» Nikolai (Nunzio) Rimaudo into the organization and announced the creation of a new church vicariate covering the territory of Italy and Portugal.
According to the information provided by the head of the UOC-KP, the request of the «archbishop» from Milan was granted, after which the corresponding decree was signed. As part of the new structure, Nicola (Nunzio) Rimaudo was appointed «Patriarchal Vicar» with the title «Archbishop of Milan».
As reported, on May 28, 2026, the UOC-KP officially expanded its structure by creating a new representative office abroad. According to the head of the organization, Nikodim Kobzar, it was decided to establish a vicariate in Cyprus.
