Reports have emerged from the Kirovohrad region that a priest of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church was forcibly detained by TRC officers

An incident occurred in the Kirovohrad region involving the forcible transfer of a member of the clergy of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church to a regional recruitment center (RRC). Archpriest Maxim Tsarenko, rector of the church in the village of Lupolovo, was detained by military registration and enlistment office personnel near a medical facility. This was reported on the website by the Union of Orthodox Journalists (SPZ).

According to parishioners who witnessed the incident, the priest was undergoing treatment for serious health problems. Relatives and parishioners state that after Father Maxim was taken to the Military Registration and Enlistment Office, all contact with him was completely cut off, and his current whereabouts and state of health remain unknown.
