The Ukrainian Orthodox Church’s theological schools in Kyiv have summarized the results of the 2026 admissions campaign

On August 6, 2026, a meeting of the Academic Council was held at the Kyiv Theological Schools, during which the results of this year’s admissions campaign were officially announced. The event was chaired by Archbishop Silvestr of Belogorodsk, rector of the Kyiv Theological Academy and Seminary, with the participation of the faculty. This was reported by , the Information and Education Department of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church.

Based on the results of the entrance exams, the educational institutions have welcomed new students. Thirty-eight applicants were admitted to the full-time program at the Kyiv Theological Seminary, and 18 to the Kyiv Theological Academy. A significant number of students enrolled in the part-time program: 62 at the seminary and 35 at the academy.

During the meeting, members of the Academic Council also addressed academic matters, specifically reviewing the reviewers’ comments on the textbook “Eortology: Part One” for third-grade students. The event concluded with a discussion between Archimandrite Vladimir (Tsipino), Senior Assistant to the Vice Rector for Student Affairs, and prospective students, during which they discussed organizational aspects of their future studies and life at the seminary.
