Metropolitan Onuphrius Marked the 12th Anniversary of His Enthronement: A Call to Faithfulness to Christ

The Primate of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church, His Beatitude Metropolitan Onufry, marked the 12th anniversary of his enthronement by calling on the faithful to place their complete trust in Christ. In his speech, he emphasized that true hope and salvation for a Christian are possible only through faith in the Lord, which is the foundation of church ministry.

The solemn event brought together clergy and laity for the celebration of the Eucharist. In his exhortation, Metropolitan Onuphrius noted that the Primate’s ministry consists in bearing witness to Christ crucified and risen, while emphasizing that every Christian is called to such witness not only through words but also through one’s way of life.

The Primate expressed his sincere gratitude to the bishops, monastics, and parishioners for their support and prayers. He reminded those gathered that it is precisely the love of Christ and the ability to forgive that unite the members of the Church, making them worthy to receive the grace of the Holy Spirit.
