The Bishop of Bukoba Performed a Mass Baptism in Tanzania

The Parish of the Apostle Nathanael is a young congregation comprising about 250 parishioners. The mass baptism, which took place on September 13, became a symbol of the believers’ spiritual resilience and unity. ““Love and Unity Will Prevail”—has become the main motto of the parishioners, expressing their readiness to stand against violence and hatred through their commitment to Christian values.

As a reminder, on the feast of the Dormition of the Most Holy Theotokos (New Style) in Jinja, Uganda, a solemn event took place: 46 people received the Sacrament of Holy Baptism. This event marked the culmination of a celebration that brought together hundreds of believers from across the Diocese of Jinja and Eastern Uganda of the Patriarchate of Alexandria.
