Nizhyn eparchy urged law enforcement officers to punish radicals who attacked the procession of the UOC

For beating up believers of the UOC during a religious procession in Nizhyn, the radicals will be prosecuted, according to the Nizhyn eparchy.

“In connection with an attempt to obstruct the traditional procession of the cross with holy relics and miraculous icons on the feast day of St. John of Tobolsk, dozens of believers prepared an appeal to law enforcement agencies about committing criminal offenses by a number of radicalized persons,” the eparchy commented.
